ORIGINAL MUSIC AND LESSONS

James Labrosse is a guitarist and composer raised in a Spanish-speaking neighborhood in South Florida in a French-Canadian family. At 18, he moved to Andalucía, Spain to immerse himself in Flamenco, later studying Production and Arranging at Berklee College of Music. Since relocating to New York City in 2015, he has been an active performer leading his own band and collaborating widely. He released his debut album Orange Night in 2018, earned a Godin Guitars endorsement the same year, and followed with the EP Duckland in 2022. James also performs as a sideman with various artists and is a guitarist for the NYC-based Indian Raga-Flamenco ensemble, Compass Trio.
